About the Mississippi Chapter of HFMA:
The Mississippi chapter of HFMA includes over 340 members from health care organizations from all over the state. The mission of the chapter is to help its members and others excel thereby improving the business performance of organizations operating in or serving the healthcare industry.
The primary goal of the chapter is to provide affordable education and information on the ever-changing healthcare environment. The chapter provides education in the form of meetings across the state. These meetings are usually one or two-day sessions providing information on a broad range of topics including patient accounts management, government regulation, operations efficiency, personal development, etc.
The Mississippi chapter is a volunteer led organization whose source of funds is meeting registration fees and sponsorships. The Chapter holds its Annual Institute in May of each year on the Gulf Coast.
